Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, our signs are made using a weatherproof board that has been proven over many years. The base metal is then covered in a UV stable protective coating to prevent oxidation and protect the finish. However we can supply our signs without the coating to allow nature to develop the natural patina over time. This is only available on non painted signs.

Because all our signs are individual to you, we price after initial consultation.
We will supply an artwork proof in black and white for all custom work to make sure your getting exactly what you want.
Yes you can, although most files will need some editing to suit the process and may not be directly compatible, we will use the artwork you supply to create something that is as close as possible.
Production is usually four to six weeks from final artwork approval and payment. If you require your sign urgently, please let us know.
Yes we supply screws and if needed our signs can be made without screw holes and mounted with construction adhesive.

Every single plaque is made completely in-house by us in our North East Victorian workshop, ensuring unparalleled attention to detail. We specialise in working with genuine copper, brass, and aluminium—materials selected for their timeless aesthetic beauty and proven resilience against the harsh Australian climate.
Our production process combines heritage techniques with modern structural durability:
- Weatherproof Foundation: Each sign is mounted on a heavy-duty, proven weatherproof composite base board engineered for full outdoor exposure.
- Protective UV Finishes: We apply high-grade, UV-stable protective coatings to seal our metals, preventing unwanted oxidation and permanently preserving the finish. Alternatively, for non-painted raw copper, we can leave the metal untreated to allow a rich, natural weathered patina to develop over time for a rustic look.
- Bespoke Design Proofs: From initial concept to final creation, we collaborate closely with you. We transform your ideas, architectural photos, or specific dimensions into a custom work of art, supplying a complimentary black-and-white artwork proof before any metal is pressed.
